I wrote a review on Google maps for you guys! Sofie was fabulous. I will copy and paste what I wrote on Google maps: My mother in law’s gel nail polish popped off while we were on vacay, so while we were in Amsterdam- I looked for the closest nail salon to our hotel. Glaze popped up in my search and I was conveniently able to book an appointment for the next day using their online platform. My MIL had Sofie— she was very nice, professional, and my MIL said she was very meticulous with removal of the old polish and prepping the nails for the new gel polish. Based on what I saw the other woman getting, this place clearly does epic nail art. Each nail was like a different canvas. I logged on to their instagram as I was waiting for my MIL and holy cow— they do beautiful work. We are glad and fortunate that we were able to get just the removal and a basic gel polish. I’m sure that was pretty “boring” for them, but we appreciated them seeing us last minute! Also I like how they don’t reuse nail files. Everyone either comes with their nail file if they’re a returning guest, or you get charged for a new one. 👌 The cost for removal of gel polish from a different salon is 20 euro, application was 47.50, and the nail file was 3.50 euro. When you add the tax— it came to a total of 70.50. It is certainly pricier than what you would find in Germany and the United States, but I honestly think you’re prob paying for each nail technician and the artists’ time. This was clearly a specialty nail salon. I was super impressed by the woman’s nails in the next chair and the instagram really showcases an impressive gallery of what they can do. No complaints and thanks for seeing us on short notice!

Oh fun fact: Sofie mentioned how the back of the salon is the skinniest alleyway in Amsterdam. I’ve been to this city 6 times and never visited that before!
